Our Energy Efficiency Policy

We know that the energy we use in our production plants and offices is part of the cost and the environmental impact of every product we make.

We treat energy efficiency not as a saving measure but as a measure of every process from design to shipment, and adopt the following principles;

We measure, monitor and record our energy consumption process by process. We prioritise the areas where consumption is highest and plan improvements in that order.

We count energy performance among our purchasing criteria in decisions on new investment, machinery and equipment, and choose the energy-efficient option among equivalent alternatives.

We maintain shared systems in our plants, such as lighting, heating, cooling and compressed air, on a planned basis that reduces losses and leaks.

We follow our legal obligations on energy efficiency and make the required notifications and measurements on time.

We inform our employees on energy efficiency, consider the improvement suggestions that come from the field and put the practicable ones into effect. We share the results with top management regularly and update our targets accordingly.
