Personal Data Protection and Privacy Policy

This notice is given under Article 10 of Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (the “KVKK”) and as a legal obligation. The KVKK defines personal data as any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person. Our company carries out every processing of your personal data — obtaining, recording, storing, keeping, changing, reorganising, disclosing, transferring, taking over, making available, classifying or preventing the use of it, whether wholly or partly by automated means or, as part of a filing system, by non-automated means — lawfully and with the highest possible level of security, in order to protect fundamental rights and freedoms and above all the privacy of private life. Our aim is to inform you of how your personal data is collected, why and on what legal grounds it is processed, to whom and for what purposes it may be transferred, and of your rights.

a) Identity of the Data Controller and of Its Representative, If Any

The data controller is Kızılay Barınma Sistemleri.

b) Purposes of Processing Personal Data

We would like to state that we will process the personal data you share with our company for the following purposes;

  • identifying and assessing the education, health, qualifications and skills required by the company’s working conditions,
  • assessing your suitability for the position applied for,
  • contacting the people you give as references to confirm information,
  • determining your inclination to adapt to the company’s culture and practices,
  • keeping in touch,
  • considering you for suitable positions that may arise later if the interview is unsuccessful,
  • setting salary information and scales,
  • planning and running our company’s Human Resources policies and processes, within the processing conditions and purposes set out in Articles 5 and 6 of the KVKK, and that we will keep it for the maximum period set out in the relevant legislation or required for the purpose of processing, and in any case for the statutory limitation periods.

c) To Whom and for What Purposes Processed Personal Data May Be Transferred

Within the purposes above and the processing conditions and purposes set out in Article 8 of the KVKK on the transfer of personal data, the personal data you give our company with a job application may be shared with;

  • the people you give as references, to confirm the information you declared,
  • the training companies and examination centres that run the general aptitude test and personality inventory used to assess your suitability for the position applied for.

d) Method and Legal Grounds of Collecting Personal Data

Based on your explicit consent, one of the processing conditions in Articles 5 and 6 of the KVKK, and in response to your request to our company, your personal data may be collected for the purposes in (b) and (c) above, in writing, orally, electronically or otherwise, wholly or partly by automated or non-automated means, through;

  • the CVs and other information and documents you send to our company by hand, email, post, reference and similar means,
  • the employment or consultancy firms our company works with,
  • the people you give as references, checks made to confirm the accuracy of the information you provide, and research carried out by our company,
  • application forms published in print or online and filled in by you.

e) Your Other Rights

Subject to all relevant exceptions, above all those in Article 28 of the KVKK headed “Exceptions”, you have the right to apply to our company, under the conditions set out in the KVKK, to learn whether your personal data is processed; if it is, for what purpose and whether it is used in line with that purpose; whether it is transferred to third parties in Türkiye or abroad and, if so, who they are; to ask for data processed unlawfully to be erased or destroyed; for incomplete or inaccurate data to be corrected and updated when it changes; for your data to be erased or destroyed when the reasons for processing it no longer exist, and for these steps to be notified to the third parties it was transferred to; and to claim compensation if you suffer damage because personal data processed solely by automated systems was not processed in line with the legislation.
